One of the best independent book stores in South Africa, Kalk Bay Books is situated in the fishing village of Kalk Bay, 30 minutes drive from the centre of Cape Town. Not only do we offer a hand-selected range of fiction and non fiction books, but we swear by books as the answer to the world's problems. In March 2010, The Annex Restaurant opened in the Kalk Bay Books precinct. This unique combination of an independent bookshop and a bistro restaurant has become an unmissable meeting point for people who love great books, great food and great conversation.
